Holiday: 25 days per year + 8 public holidays
Remuneration: £30,000 – £35,000 per year

About the Digital Marketing Manager role
An opportunity has arisen for a highly creative marketing individual to join a fast growing and exciting search engine marketing & social media agency. You will ideally have at least 3 years hands-on experience in developing online marketing strategy and implementing social media and online PR tactics.
The role will involve managing a small team of digital experts and working closely with clients to achieve campaign objectives. You will also be responsible for evolving our in-house processes for delivering our online PR and social media services. You’ll need to be an excellent communicator and a confident individual who can build relationships with journalists, bloggers and community leaders.

Your Responsibilities
The candidate should have a solid understanding of general marcoms strategy & online PR techniques as well as how to interact with online communities and creating well written web copy. An appreciation of search engine optimisation strategy would also be helpful, in particular how online PR and social search tactics can benefit SEO strategy. Multi-tasking, team building, coaching and good organisational and research skills are also essential.
This is a highly creative, strategic and marketing oriented role and day to day responsibilities and skills requirements include:
- Understanding & proven management of social media platforms and technologies, i.e. Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn
- Social media monitoring & engagement for reputation management
- Social media campaign strategy creation, including viral and creative content development
- Developing & implementing online PR and social media strategy to help achieve client goals
- Researching content production & syndication opportunities Writing web copy, online news stories, white papers and articles for clients
- Creating online PR campaigns to stimulate ‘brand noise’
- Interacting with online communities and developing strategies to help our clients take advantage of the opportunities that exist within the social networking sphere
- Managing and coaching a team of junior digital marketers
- Developing our processes and methodologies for social search and online PR
- Managing a portfolio of clients and being accountable for campaign results
- Supporting the marketing function with producing press releases, white papers, email and web content.
- Supporting the sales function in the preparation of proposal material.
It’s not vital that you have experience in all of the above areas as your skills will develop on the job. What is important is that you are able to bring a lot of creativity to the table, you have a passion for social media & online PR, interacting with communities and are able to think on your feet, problem solve and have the energy and enthusiasm to work in a challenging but rewarding and flexible environment.
Computer skills required:
You need to be a competent user of MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
