Hey Tim, a link can have a benefit even if it's not yet showing up on Site Explorer or webmaster tools, having said that a reciprocal linking campaign is very unlikely to work and may end uo doing more harm than good!

Hi Kelvin,

Firstly thanks for your work on the AI podcast. I have listened to it throughout its life to date and find its guidance and support consistently useful (and influential). Keep it up! And thanks too for your blog which is also great.

I have recently undertaken a reciprocal linking programme for my website. But some of the new inbound links to my site that I have arranged are not being recognised by Google Webmaster or by Yahoo Siteexplorer. Are these links therefore worthless in SEO terms? Or am I doing something wrong.

Any advice?
