Here at SiteVisibility we sift through the marketing noise to understand and keep clients well informed on how change will impact them and what we can do to take advantage. And some of the public ways we share this knowledge include our Internet Marketing Podcast and our portfolio of ten Digital marketing events, the next of which is BrightonSEO on 23rd – 25th of April followed by Measurefest in London on 21st -22nd May. As we continue to grow, we’re really pleased to welcome the highly experienced Felice, Tristam, Dane and Johnathan to our dynamic team whose mission is to deliver integrated, future-proof digital marketing strategies that work for our clients. For others starting out in their career, digital marketing is an exciting potential career choice and can be financially rewarding but we all know it can be difficult to get that all important work experience – we’re proud to be one of the first companies to sign up to the Living Wage campaign which promises to help make a career in digital marketing more accessible.
Hopefully 2014 will continue to bring search professionals away from their linking addiction, and to work towards a more holistic view of search marketing. In the wake of the frequent updates of Google Panda and the recent iterations of Penguin in addition to the myriad of other algorithm updates. It goes without saying that the spotlight will be firmly on Google on 2014 as we anticipate further updates. “Helpouts” especially will give companies and indeed individuals the opportunity to create paid/subscriber webinars, creating brand new avenues for both revenue and audience growth. Furthermore, keep an eye out on how Google will expand upon their ‘Quick Answers’ as they look to provide quicker & smarter search results based on your email, calendar and Google Plus profile content.
