Here’s something exciting for you this November – in just over two weeks time (November 20th) the content marketing show will be opening its doors to hundreds of digital marketing boffins and business owners from across London.
However, what’s even more exciting is the workshops which are lined up the day before the conference on Monday, 19th of November.
If you didn’t manage to make it to #Brightonseo or were busy visiting the different areas and stands at the event, here’s the SiteVisibility presentation (The Business of SEO and How it Can Make Our World a Better Place) delivered on the day by our very own chief executive – Jason Woodford.
The talk questioned the SEO industry’s reputation and discussed the opportunities of how to improve this whilst at the same time doing something good for the community. Jason incorporated the ideas of helping local charities and to try your up-most as a business to act upon CSR activities with the final goal being to make the world a better place.
After the afternoon’s intermission, BrightonSEO took things up a notch with a lightning round of quick-fire talks to bring the conference to a close. After what had been a whirlwind day of information, knowledge sharing and SEO banter the final session was made up of even more SEO techniques which also spread across through to social media and mobile.
To kick off the afternoons proceedings we had four amazing talks in session three beginning with Richard Baxter founder of SEOGadget. He began by illustrating how SEO offers great depth as a marketing tool for businesses however, he stressed that it takes a long time to perfect! Indeed it does, so how do you get to be a better SEO?
So, the morning’s first two sessions come to a close and what a morning it has been! we’ve had talks that have opened our creative minds from the likes of Dave Trott and Anthony Mayfield. The second session has given us practical insights and tips on how to build websites thanks to Martin Belam. We’ve got to understand how Google’s updates have affected search ranking results by the form of a case study by Rebecca Weeks. Stephanie Troeth showed us the power of words and how to set your tone right. Finally, rounding up the morning Tom Anthony demonstrated how to use APIs for SEO.
#BrightonSEO – The UK’s biggest and best digital marketing conference is back with a bang today!
Today’s first session has just come to a close, filled with brilliant insights into how to be creative from David Trott. Not only that we had Anthony Mayfield speaking brand and getting us into the mindset of discovering brand new ideas for search marketing.
First of all it’s great to see so many people at Brighton SEO, the dome is packed to the rafters today filled with over 1700 attendees eagerly listening and writing away on their vast array of digital devices! Instagram, Twitter, Facebook and Google + have been on overdrive this morning and we don’t expect to see any let up.
So with less than 2 weeks to go until the big event we thought we’d share with you some of the things that we’re awaiting in eager anticipation for this September’s event.
The big day is Friday 14th; however don’t forget the fantastic search marketing workshops that have been organised the day before on Thursday.
