Discussing the SEO of the future at iGaming SuperShow

SiteVisibility Director of Strategy to address delegates at upcoming conference and interviews fellow speaker through SiteVisibility Internet Marketing Podcast

With search engine optimisation (SEO) strategies evolving as Google clamps down on “spammy” techniques, understanding how to future proof your SEO has never been so crucial. Kelvin Newman, Director of Strategy at leading search and social media marketing agency SiteVisibility, will address these issues with delegates as he speaks at two workshops at the upcoming iGaming SuperShow, 22-25 May, Ireland.

The iGaming Super Show is set to host 2,500 delegates and four conference streams providing an opportunity for marketers to learn the ins and out of the industry, including market specific SEO, social, PPC and marketing strategies. The event will also include 1 to 1 workshops with industry professionals, over 100 exhibitors, speed networking sessions and over 46 confirmed speakers, from the biggest iGaming CEOs to marketing experts of some of the biggest brands.

Kelvin, who has been recently been voted by his peers as the most influential SEO expert in the UK aged under 30-years old, will be joined by Mike Litson, Head of iGaming SEO, Blueclaw Media Ltd and Peter Young, Regional Head of SEO, Mediacom, as the panel dissects the recent Google Penguin update and how businesses can stay one step ahead on search rankings.

Kelvin will then join Nichola Stott, Founding Partner & Director, theMediaFlow and James Lowery, Head of SEO, Latitude on a panel as they discuss the convergence of social media and SEO and the technical connection of Social Indicators within the Search algorithms.

Through its internationally recognised Internet Marketing podcast, SiteVisibility and Kelvin have also interviewed fellow speaker Nichola Stott where they looked at the use of social media in the iGaming sector, including whether affiliates understand the tool and the growing importance of Google+. This particular podcast can be heard here.

Kelvin Newman, Director of Strategy SiteVisibility, comments: “The igaming sector, specifically betting and gambling, is facing certain challenges with the evolving nature of social media and search. Social media covers such a wide spectrum and I’m sure there are many businesses across various sectors that are simply using the tool without any tailored strategies in place. I hope, along with my colleagues and guest speakers, that we can offer an insight into how to implement a more mature and effective approach to social media and search.”

SiteVisibility’s podcast is the UK’s most popular internet marketing podcast downloaded by over a million people. Listened to all over the world, it’s the number one podcast for marketing in most English speaking countries on iTunes and each weekly episode gets in the region of 15,000 listeners.
