ISO certificate is good for staff and good for business
Underpinning its reputation for providing high-quality service to its clients, SiteVisibility - the leading integrated search, social media and SEO company – has followed up its Investors in People certification by now becoming ISO 9001:2008 certified. This certification is further recognition of the company’s longstanding commitment to the development of its business through continuous improvement of its business processes and people.
Following an audit of its systems by the British Standards Institute (BSI), SiteVisibility has now become the only Search Agency in the NMA Top 30 which can offer Internet Marketing services fully accredited to the International ISO 9001 quality standard.
Indicating the company’s consistent approach in developing, implementing and improving its quality standards, the ISO 9001:2008 is a result of SiteVisibility’s two-year Knowledge Transfer Partnership (KTP) with the University of Brighton, involving an investment of over £100k and resisting the temptation to re-allocate the investment elsewhere.
As a result of the KTP, SiteVisibility has witnessed a greater transparency of individual capacity and productivity allowing for a 39 per cent increase in revenue per head from 2007 to 2010. It has also improved profitability – gross profit has increased from 37 per cent in 2009 to 50 per cent in 2011 and the ‘Productivity’ – the proportion of a consultants time which can be charged out to a client – has increased from below 60 per cent to 85 per cent during the period of the KTP.
