AVS Fencing witnesses an 83% increase in revenue from non-branded search traffic from SEO campaign
Tasked with improving the natural search rankings and traffic for AVS Fencing, the supplier of landscaping materials and equipment, SiteVisibility’s carefully designed search engine optimisation (SEO) campaign has resulted in AVS witnessing an 83 per cent increase in revenue from non-branded search traffic in Q1 2012. The SEO agency deployed a set of tactics which increased Ecommerce revenue and achieved an enhanced website visibility for AVS, despite the seasonal nature of its business.
AVS Fencing, founded in the late 1980s, is a well-known supplier of a wide variety of landscaping materials and equipment to both corporate and trade customers. With an ever growing range of products, AVS Fencing and its sister site Sleeper Supplies, provides high quality fencing, gardening tools and design materials such as railway sleepers, to a varied customer base. With a number of shops throughout the South, the company has also seen growth through its two websites.
Following a thorough audit and period of research, SiteVisibility adopted a combination of onsite and offsite SEO tactics in order to reach the target audience. This included a tailored keyword strategy; meta-data recommendations for top level pages; and categories and on-site content creation and content syndication.
In comparison to 2010, throughout 2011, the campaign results had a noticeable impact on the levels of traffic to the AVS Fencing website. Natural search traffic increased 45 per cent along with transactions from natural search which were up 36 per cent.
The success of the campaign has continued well into 2012 with results for Q1 compared to the same period in 2011 reflecting further positive results for AVS and its online presence. Alongside the 83 per cent increase in revenue from non-branded search traffic, SiteVisibility secured a 52.34 per cent increase in Natural Search traffic and a 46% increase of keywords sending traffic. These results have fully enhanced the online performance of AVS.
