SiteVisibility earns third IIP accreditation as former Trainee is acclaimed by peers
SiteVisibility, a leading integrated search, Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Social Media agency, has had its positive attitude to staff development recognised as it has passed the most recent Investors in People review. The company will now, for the ninth year, retain its IIP accreditation having been first awarded the certification in 2003.
SiteVisibility boasts a solid focus on internal training and promotion. Each employee has the opportunity to design their own training programme and is encouraged to develop skills tailored to their own area of expertise. This has been evident with the significant rise of Kelvin Newman throughout both SiteVisibility and the social media and SEO industry.
Having joined SiteVisibility five-years ago as a Trainee, Kelvin is now the company’s Creative Director as has been ranked by his peers as the most influential SEO expert in the UK aged under 30-years old. This is firm proof that a commitment to training and development can pay off and develop some of the very best industry talent.
During these times of austerity, SiteVisibility has been challenged to find employees with the levels of experience required in order to continue the high standards of customer service it has become renowned for. However, it’s the company’s flexible approach to training which has stood out, taking on new members of staff with little or no experience as trainees, interns or on work placements. This enabling to gain the experience they need before securing full time positions either with SiteVisibility or elsewhere in the industry.
