Many people question the value of social media in relation to profits. We’ve been working on Stannah’s social media campaign, using our WHISPER methodology, and we’ve established that designing the right campaign means a great return on investment. Brighton SEO ....

April was a busy month here at SiteVisibility, not least because we were busy arranging our biggest ever Brighton SEO Conference on April 1st. It was a whole day of talks, presentations and panel debates open to all who were interested at the Salis Benney Theatre in sunny Brighton, followed by some well-deserved drinks at the King & Queen.

The aim of the conference has always been to highlight that the city is a hotbed of SEO talent, and provide a ‘Brightonian’ spin on the search marketing conference and networking events which often take place in London. Not only was it a chance to attend a conference featuring sessions from Brighton’s finest plus some of the rest of the UK’s best search marketers, but it didn't cost a penny.

There were some great talks, including Doug Platt’s presentation about communicating the value of SEO to clients and the age-old ‘Is SEO Doomed?’ panel debate. The day was hosted by Kelvin Newman and also included a talk from our own Jo Morley and Graeme Benstead-Hume about the new ASA regulations and their impact on search and digital marketing.

Don’t worry if you missed out on the event, we are currently hatching plans for the next Brighton SEO event which will almost certainly take place before the end of the year. We’ve also been busy welcoming new clients to the company and developing our products and services, from SEO to social media, PPC to reputation management. If you’d like to talk to us about your online marketing objectives then please get in touch.
