On Friday 4th Sept at 11pm ~ for one hour only ~ Trafalgar Square 4th Plinth will be transformed into a mass of fun and funky music in an historic event that will help the cause of fighting cancer in teenagers – a growing concern.
Dan Flanagan, of SiteVisibility (as part of the Anthony Gormley “one and other” exhibition), those extremely party leading, butt shaking, excruciating funky cats from True Ingredients and energy super heroes from Student Switch Off, will be leading a fancy dress funkalong in aid of Teens Unite Fighting Cancer.
Dan is a search marketing account manager at Site Visibility, a search engine optimisation agency. As part of the company’s Corporate Social Responsibility initiative, everyone at the company gets to spend a day working for a charity or their choice each year.
“Your message here” Just tell us what you want to say and donate to charity for high profile exposure atop London’s 4th Plinth
Dan will be holding up a large white board displaying messages collected prior to, and during, the event. Send a message into http://www.justgiving.co.uk/funktrafalgar/ along with your donation, or join the facebook group “Funk Trafalgar” and see it broadcast live from Trafalgar Square. Tell the world how much you love that special person in your life, how good your company is, shout out your latest award win, press release headline or simply wish someone Happy Birthday!
Photography from the night will be on the special facebook page and available for download if companies would like to grab a shot of their message from the Plinth.
You can even control the music! Log into the Facebook Group and vote for your favourite songs that will be played on the night. All voters will be entered in to a draw to win a pair of limited edition true Ingredients Funk sunglasses bearing a unique code to download the new album for free.
If you can’t make it along on the night log on to http://www.oneandother.co.uk/ on the night and watch it live from the comfort of your own armchair…
