Flooring Supplier Case Study

Find out how we increased organic sessions YoY by 269% in 6 months for a major UK carpet and flooring supplier. Starting with extensive research and traffic modeling, we developed a comprehensive SEO Road Map to methodically identify, prioritise, and act upon opportunities for organic growth.

What Did We Achieve?

In 6 months, on the pages we improved, we achieved:

  • 269% YoY Increase in Organic Sessions
  • 312% YoY Increase in New Users
  • 395% YoY increase in Sample Orders
  • 388% YoY increase in Home Visit Leads

How Did We Do It?

We began by using the same tried and tested methodology we used to significantly increase organic revenue for Dunelm and applied it to their business.

This involved analysing tens of thousands of keywords, their search volumes, impressions, clicks and CTR on a category-by-category basis to allow us to prioritise our efforts for maximum ROI.

Once we had prioritised the top 5 categories to work on, we used our own proprietary tools alongside third-party tools to identify keyword gaps, content clusters, and question content opportunities.

We then undertook the following work:

  • Creation and optimisation of content for core keyword groups
  • Creation of new categories and subcategories
  • Creation or expansion of FAQ content for SERP features
  • Updating of internal linking practices
  • Identification and creation of topic landing pages such as ‘Bathroom Flooring’

We got people to take notice…

Our great work wasn’t just noticed by our friends at the flooring business. Making a significant contribution to their digital growth was picked up by Retail Week too.
