SiteVisibility have launched a partnership with Career Ready, a UK-wide charity, to boost social mobility.

The partnership will help to connect young people to the world of work and sees us creating and managing paid search campaigns free of charge to generate mentoring and work experience opportunities for young people in the Brighton & Hove region.

We have a strong track record of supporting young people in the local community and as a partner of Brighton Aldridge Community Academy, we provide local students with work experience and skill development opportunities, including a 3-month work experience programme for alumni of Eastbourne College.

By partnering with Career Ready, we are extending this commitment by becoming a key national driver in ensuring that, by 2021, 90,000 young people across the UK, are provided with the workplace skills and experiences needed to kickstart rewarding futures.

Career Ready volunteers are key to boosting social mobility as, through professional mentoring and other employment activities, they help young people to develop the key skills and experience needed for success.

98% of Career Ready graduates go onto a positive destination after leaving sixth form or college, compared to the national average of 89%.

Jason Woodford, our CEO said:

“SiteVisibility are delighted to launch a partnership with Career Ready and we look forward to playing an active role in helping them connect young people to the world of work. SiteVisibility is a Google Partner and we are providing our Paid Search services free of charge to Career Ready; it’s one small but scaleable action we can take as a SME to help reduce skills shortages by attracting young talent into our thriving industry. Work experience is mission critical for young people who want to enhance their career choices. But getting useful work experience is incredibly difficult and that’s where Career Ready is helping to solve the problem at scale.”

Caroline Kandaya-Breakfast, South East England Regional Manager said:

“We’re delighted to be working in partnership with SiteVisibility. Their support will help mean that more young people will receive the mentoring and wider employment activities they need to kickstart a rewarding and successful career, and it will be key in helping us to support 90,000 young people, every year, by 2021. We are also looking forward to working with the SiteVisibility on a more local level in the Brighton area so that their team can support young people directly through mentoring and masterclasses on skills for career success.”

Career Ready is a UK-wide charity which aims to make young people work ready by delivering a programme of mentoring, masterclasses, workplace visits and internships in schools and colleges across the UK. In the last academic year Career Ready supported 29,000 young people across the UK.
