#BrightonSEO Speakers Announced – Free Conference July 23rd
BrightonSEO now has it’s own website at BrightonSEO.com
I have a couple of very exciting pieces of news to announce about the forthcoming #brightonseo free half day conference.
First of all we have an evening venue confirmed. We’ll be returning to BrightonSEO’s sprititual home of upstairs The Quadrant, where Tim Aldis of FreshEgg has very kindly offered to put some money behind the bar, along with refreshments during the afternoon courtesy of SiteVisibility.
This is of course after the daytime element which we will be holding from 1.30PM at Community Base.
But onto the bigger second piece of news the speaker line-up.
We’ve been lucky enough to have a deluge of speaker applications from some of the UK SEO industries leading lights. Sorry to the people I couldn’t squeeze in this time. It’s surprised me just how many people wanted to get involved.
We’ll be sticking to the popular conference format of three fifteen minute talks per session followed by fifteen minute q&a; so we can squeeze in as much high quality SEO-ness as is humanly possible with out some kind of time travel device.

Sound good for precisely zero pounds and pence? Leave us a comment below and let us know who is coming from where!
12 speakers? in half a day? how long are they speaking for each?
I mentioned in the post fifteen minutes each, very similar to SES and SMX,
Short, sharp and hoefully really really interesting
Hello,
I’d love to pop down for the day for this, not far from me in Dover.
That’ll teach me to read more carefully!
Good luck with the day, I enjoyed the write ups of the last event.
You should def come along Laurie, It’ll be a good laugh that’s for sure
Really looking forward to this. Great line up and some really interesting sessions.
Hats off for organising Kelvin.
this is going to be a blast!! if last time is anyhing to go by.
Sounds like an excellent mix of speakers. Will definitely try to make it along!
I will be coming. I think the 15 minute presentations is a fantastic idea! Gives enough time to see if you are interested in what the speaker has tonsay so you can network with them afterwards.
Good speaker list Kelvin, I’ll be coming from Brighton so not too far.
@
Yeah, and also it’s short enough that they’ll be off soon if you’re not enjoying what they have to say!
Going to be a great day, and what a great excuse to get out of the office with the weather being as good as it is….
I’m so glad everyone is so up for this!
Gonna be a barnstormer
Sounds good, thanks for arranging this. I am coming from just few streets away.
Looks good, please count me in!
Excellent line up, can’t wait! Count me in.
Hi Kelvin,
On a scale of 1 to 10, how advanced/technical do you think the talks are going to be? Is it going to be basic stuff or something for more learned heads.
Missed the last one and would like to meet some fellow Brighton SEO minds when I’m not smashed out of my face.
Oh, wait, scratch that. I’m on tour with the band from that Friday onwards. Bummer.
Superb – count me in!
Looks like a great afternoon – I’ll be there
That looks awesome. So sorry I can’t be with you.
Sounds great.. Will need to confirm either way a little closer to the 25th
Hang on Kelv There are no SEO Sceptics or People trying to sell Major Publisher links, no way I am going
Course I will be there
You’re right no body looking for an argument
but I know a few of the presentations are going to ignite a fair bit of ‘healthy debate’
Oh and to answer Rob, the sessions are pretty involved so even the most hardened SEO should come away learning plenty
yes please – sounds great. we work with lots of local non profit orgs who could do with some SEO help so hoping to pick up lots of top tips and insight
and we are already in commnity base so not too far to travel.
let me lnow if we can help with logistics/equipment/emergency milk…
Mark
How do we sign up?
OH HAI! see you there, looks very interesting
Hey Peter, you just turn up on the day, though the more people who RSVP by commenting here the better we can judge numbers!
And Rae, glad you can make it
Ill be there
Really looking forward to this event. Is it really free?
cost is absolutely zilch! though buying the speakers a beer in the pub afterwards is always a nice touch
Hi Kelvin,
I’ll be there
Didn’t think I’d be able to make it as I’m on annual leave but I should still make it!
Paddy

Sounds great. I’ll make it along. It’s been at least a week since I was in the Quadrant so this is a must.
Cheers, Pete
Just turn up? I’ll be there then…thx
Will be there. Can’t wait. Nothing like a bit of SEO by the seaside.
I’m there.
Count me in.
Sounds super! Just started overhauling the SEO for my site, so I’m looking forward to learning some useful stuff and being thoroughly out of my depth.
Bringing my other webby chum, Naz (and my bump – I’m six months preggers!) and we’re both already in Brighton.
That sounds great. See you there.
Ill be there…
Yep, I’ll be there. Many thanks.
I’ll be there
I can’t make this one, sounds great and I’m very disappointed to be missing out.
See you there!
See you there. What’s the limit on space?
We have room for 100 people, so shouldn’t have an problems on that front. Might be a little tighter in the pub but it’ll all be fun!
Sounds interesting Kelvin. +1 from me.
Looking forward to seein you all there!
Looks excellent – I’m definitely coming.
So glad I can be in town for this – congrats on putting it together.
I’m in as well. Sounds exciting!
Am definitely coming, from Southampton
Dan
Looks interesting. I will be there.
If it’s sunny can we hold it on the beach?
Are there still places?
I’ll be there with some of my fellow Froggers!
Blimey. It’s going to be very friendly in the Quadrant!
That was a great meetup, absolutely loved Rishi Lakhani’s and Sam Crockers presentations!
A bit too hot and too quiet, but definitely worth spending a few hours
Very nice post. I just stumbled upon your blog and wanted to say that I have really enjoyed surfing around your blog posts. In any case I’ll be subscribing to your feed and I hope you write again very soon!
